HyderabadIn a sort of election bugle in Telangana, Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Saturday lashed out at the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) government in the state for alleged corruption and accused it of not fulfilling poll promises. He alleged that Chandrashekhar Rao wanted to turn Telangana into Bengal. He promised that if BJP comes to power, he will end minority reservation.
Shah said that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is fully prepared for the state assembly elections to be held next year. He expressed confidence of BJP coming to power in the state in the year 2023 elections.
Addressing a public meeting organized at the conclusion of the second phase of BJP’s Telangana unit president Bandi Sanjay Kumar’s padyatra, Amit Shah appealed to the voters to defeat TRS and called for voting in favor of BJP in the next assembly elections.

Shah said that Praja Sangram Yatra is a journey to change the Nizam of Hyderabad, which is also against the mindset of familyism. Taking a jibe at Chief Minister Chandrashekhar Rao, Shah asked in the public meeting, “Do we need to change the Nizam of Telangana or not?”
Accusing the TRS government of failing to fulfill the key issues of separate Telangana movement ‘water, funds and jobs’, Shah said these promises would be fulfilled if BJP came to power in the state.

Senior BJP leader Shah alleged that the election symbol of the TRS government is a vehicle, whose steering is in the hands of AIMIM leader Asaduddin Owaisi. Shah alleged that Chief Minister Chandrashekhar Rao wanted to turn Telangana into Bengal. He said that the Chandrashekhar Rao government of Telangana did nothing except change the names of the schemes of the Modi government.

Shah said that this yatra is a journey to overthrow the TRS party which is doing corruption of billions and trillions. He also said that his party will end minority reservation in the state and increase quota for Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Classes.
