New Delhi. Pune-based electric vehicle (EV) company Evtric Motors on Wednesday launched its first electric motorcycle in the Indian market. The name of this bike is Evtric Rise. Its price has been kept at Rs 1.60 lakh (ex-showroom).
Bookings for Evtric Rise have been started from Rs.5,000. Considering the increasing popularity of electric two-wheelers in the country, the company expects the Rise to be a better option for motorcycle buyers.

The Avitric Rise uses a 2000watt BLDC motor, coupled with a 70v/40ah lithium-ion battery. The company claims that this battery can be fully charged in about four hours. It can then be taken out for around 110 kms before needing to be plugged back in using a 10amp micro charger with auto-cut feature.
Top speed is 70 kmph
The top-speed of the electric motorcycle is 70 kmph. This bike has been made in a very stylish and sporty look. The Evtric Rise is being offered with sculpted styling on the sides, LED lights at the front with DRLs and two color options – Red and Black.
This bike is the best option
Evtric Motors is specifically targeting those who already own a petrol-powered two-wheeler with the Rise e-bike. Manoj Patil, Founder and MD, Evitric Motors said, “The bike is a better option for customers who are still hesitant to switch from a petrol powered bike to an electric one.”

E electric two-wheeler launched
In recent times, many new companies have launched electric vehicles in the two-wheeler segment. Options are increasing with many older manufacturers considering switching to battery power. However, the segment still has a lot to improve in the midst of fire incidents, malfunctions, range related concerns.
