Silver prices in the Delhi bullion market closed at Rs 59,077 per kg after falling by Rs 621. During the last trading session, silver had closed at Rs 59,698 per kg in the Delhi bullion market.

HDFC Securities Senior Analyst (Commodities) Tapan Patel said, “After last night’s fall at New York-based commodity exchange, Comex, spot gold of 24 carat in Delhi bullion market has declined by Rs 70.

Gems and jewelery exports up 20% to Rs 25,365 crore in May
It is worth noting that the export of gems and jewelery has increased on an annual basis in May 2022. This has increased by about 20 percent to Rs 25,365.35 crore as compared to the same period of the last financial year. Industry body Gems and Jewelery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC) said that in May 2021, the total export of gems and jewelery stood at Rs 21,156.10 crore. The total gross exports of gems and jewelery increased by 10.08 per cent to Rs 51,050.53 crore in April-May of 2022 from Rs 46,376.57 crore in the same period of 2021.
