Hyundai Aura’s new CNG model launched, priced at Rs 8.56 lakh, will get many features


New Delhi. Hyundai has launched a new variant of the Aura sub-compact sedan with CNG. The Korean carmaker has officially given the option of CNG in the SX model. This model comes with a 1.2-litre Kappa Dual VTVT Vaio fuel petrol engine. The Hyundai Aura SX CNG variant costs Rs 8.56 lakh (ex-showroom).

The new variant of the Hyundai Aura SX CNG model costs around Rs 69,000 more than the S CNG variant. The SX CNG variant is also 95,000 more expensive than the petrol powered variant.

Here is the price of all the models
Prices of the Hyundai Aura CNG model start at Rs 7.87 lakh and go up to Rs 8.56 lakh (ex-showroom). At this price, the Aura CNG rivals the Tata Tigor CNG model, with prices starting at Rs 7.85 lakh and going up to Rs 8.57 lakh. The Maruti Dzire CNG models are slightly more expensive and start at ₹8.23 Lakh and go up to ₹8.91 Lakh (ex-showroom).

Amazing features available in the car
Earlier, Hyundai used to offer the Aura CNG model with a single engine only in the S CNG variant. The new variant is now the carmaker’s top-of-the-range CNG model with more features than the lower variant. It will get an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a reverse parking camera and 15-inch dual-tone alloy wheels.

The upcoming CNG car with the most features is Aura
The Hyundai Aura is one of the few cars in the CNG sub-compact sedan segment. Recently Tata Motors launched the Tigor sub-compact sedan with CNG to take advantage of the growing number of CNG vehicle customers in India. Hyundai aims to take on the Tatas by launching the more feature-packed Aura CNG variant. Maruti is the only other carmaker to offer CNG in the subcompact sedan. However, Maruti Dzire offers CNG only in the lower trims.
