Jammu Kashmir Terror Outfit TRF Two Members Arrested By NIA Explosive Equipment And Banned Literature Found In Raids ANN

Jammu Kashmir: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has arrested two people belonging to the Jammu and Kashmir-based terrorist organization The Resistance Force (TRF). During this, during the raids conducted at four places, IED explosive material, digital equipment, jihad literature etc. have been recovered.

What is the whole matter?
A top NIA official said that this case is related to Sajjad Gul, the self-styled commander of TRF, a masked organization of terrorist organization Lashkar-e-Taiba. Who is accused that he is conspiring to carry out terrorist activities in different parts of the country including Jammu and Kashmir by instigating the youth of Jammu and Kashmir and involving them in his organization. Taking cognizance of this case, the National Investigation Agency itself filed a case on 18 November 2021. Because the NIA had come to know that this organization is conspiring to carry out terrorist activities as well as target killing besides carrying arms and explosives.

These two people were arrested
This agency official said that today, in this case, raids were conducted in Baramulla, Kupwara, Pulwama and Shopian in Jammu and Kashmir. During this, 2 people related to it were arrested. According to the official, the two people who have been arrested in this case include Moozamil Mustaq Bhatt of Baramulla and Fayaz Ahmed Khan of Kupwara. Based on the investigation so far, it has been found that both of them used to work as overground workers for this terrorist organization.

According to the NIA, during the raids conducted at 4 places, mobile phones, laptop sim cards, memory cards besides incriminating documents, IED, explosive making material, jihadi posters and literature etc. have been recovered. The arrested people are being interrogated, the investigation of the case is going on.
