Telangana Muslim Sarpanch Donate For Ram Temple: A unique example of communal harmony has been set in Telangana. Presenting an example of religious harmony and peace in Khammam district, the rural sarpanch of Telangana got a grand temple of Lord Shri Ram prepared. The Muslim Sarpanch has built a temple of Lord Rama in Budidampadu village of Raghunadpalam mandal of Khammam district for Rs 50 lakh. This work of Muslim Sarpanch is being praised everywhere.
Shaikh Meera Saheb, Sarpanch of Budidampadu village of Khammam district himself donated 25 lakh rupees for the construction of Shri Ram temple, while he deposited the remaining 25 lakh in donation and got a grand temple of Ram ready.
Unique example of communal harmony
In Budidampadu village of Raghunadpalam mandal of Khammam district, Sheikh Meera Saheb, a Muslim sarpanch, got the temple of Lord Rama constructed at a cost of Rs 50 lakh. The Ramalayam of Budidampadu village was under construction for many years and could not be completed even after several attempts. Sarpanch Sheikh Meera took the initiative after many big people failed in the construction of Ramaalayam.
Muslim Sarpanch donated Rs 25 lakh for the temple
Shaikh Meera Saheb, the sarpanch of Budidampadu village, decided to donate Rs 25 lakh himself, taking responsibility for the construction of the temple. He persuaded three tribal brothers to donate the land and got the temple constructed with his own money and about 50 lakh rupees donated by others. Shaikh himself goes to the temple and church to worship and is reminded that the Nizam of Hydration had built a temple of ancient Rama in Bhadrachalam. Working towards communal harmony, Sheikh Meera is now getting praise from the people.
