New Delhi. Hero MotoCorp on Friday launched the Hero Passion XTec with a host of technology-based features to further attract new age motorcycle buyers. Prices start at Rs 74,590 for the drum variant and Rs 78,990 (ex-showroom) for the disc variant. Hero Passion Xtec comes with a five-year warranty.
The special thing is that under the update, for the first time in this segment, LED projector headlamps have been given in Hero Passion Xtec. The company claims that the headlamp unit now has a 12 per cent longer beam than conventional halogen lamps, while also enhancing the visual appeal of the motorcycle which also supports 3D branding and rim tape.

engine as before
No change has been made in the engine of Hero Passion Xtec. It gets a 110cc BS6 engine as before, which generates 8 bhp power and 9.79 Nm torque. Hero XTec is now available with multiple connectivity options along with an all-digital instrument cluster that supports Blue Backlight.
The bike is equipped with many advanced features
The console comes with Bluetooth connectivity option and a rider can now receive phone call alerts with name or missed calls as well as SMS notifications. In this, the user can charge the smartphone while riding the bike, for this a USB charging port has also been given. This meter also shows the phone battery percentage, has a real-time mileage indicator and provides service schedule reminder apart from inserting low fuel alert.

Hero MotoCorp Chief Growth Officer Ranjivjit Singh further said that this product will set a new benchmark in this segment. He further added that Hero Passion is a reputed brand and has huge customer trust for more than a decade. With its new style and new attitude, the Passion Xtec will appeal to the new age riders.
