PM Modi Said In BRICS Meeting Expecting 7.5 Percent Economic Growth Rate


BRICS Summit 2022: Prime Minister Narendra Modi participated in the BRICS meeting on Thursday. This meeting, hosted by China, was held in virtual medium. It is a matter of happiness that there has been a huge increase in the membership of our New Development Bank. There are many areas where our mutual cooperation is directly benefiting the lives of the citizens.

What did PM Modi say about New India?
Referring to India’s economy during this, the Prime Minister said that by 2025, the value of the Indian digital economy will reach one trillion US dollars. According to our national infrastructure, there is an opportunity to invest 1.5 trillion dollars in India. We are expecting an economic growth rate of 7.5 percent in the Indian economy this year.

Referring to New India, the Prime Minister said that radical changes are taking place in every field in ‘New India’. We are supporting innovation in every field. Our mutual cooperation can make a useful contribution to the improvement of the world order after Kovid-19. We have made structural changes in BRICS over the years. Due to which the influence of this institute has increased. It is a matter of happiness that the membership of New Development Bank of BRICS has increased. I am sure that our deliberations today will suggest further strengthening of our relationship.
